Cropping removes the edges outside your selection. The download uses the selected pixels at their original resolution.

Good to know

Which images can I open?

Use an image your browser can decode, such as JPG, PNG or WebP. Support for other formats depends on your browser. Animated images become a single still frame. Exports do not retain the original metadata.

What if my image cannot be processed?

Image dimensions and available device memory affect what your browser can handle. Try a smaller image or fewer images if processing fails. There is no fixed upload size cap.
