Image resizing questions
Does resizing crop my image?
No. Resizing changes the dimensions of the entire image. Keep original proportions enabled to preserve its shape. Unlocking proportions lets you set both dimensions independently and may stretch the image.
Can I make an image larger?
Yes. Enter larger dimensions or a percentage above 100. Resizing interpolates existing pixels; it does not recover missing detail or add AI detail.
Which formats can I use?
Upload an image your browser can decode, including JPG, PNG and WebP. Export as PNG, JPG or WebP where supported. PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPG uses a white background. Animated images are exported as a single still frame, and original metadata is not retained.
Is there an image size limit?
There is no fixed upload size cap. The dimensions your browser can handle depend on your device’s available memory and canvas support. If a resize fails, try smaller output dimensions.
